Nice to Meet you

I'm Sarah and I so appreciate you pausing during your day to explore my site. 

Its a work in progress, just like me... just like all of us really. 

A little about me...

Whats with the "SHE"? Its actually my initials, and yeah, I use it everywhere, its even on my license plate. But its also about being a lady boss, get sh*t done, can do attitude, all are welcome brand. After all in order to "SHE" you need "HE" so yeah, while this is a woman owned company, everyone is welcome! 

I'm a native of Richmond, VA #RVA #RiverCity and live just outside the city with my 2 rescue pups and on the weekends, my boyfriend when he is in town. I’m super lucky to have a 3 mile commute to my day job! And in my off time, I create new work in my home studio and moonlight as business partner/ finance manager/ proposal writer for my boyfriend’s home construction/ pro handyman business.

I'm a high functioning extroverted introvert. Weird? Totally! However, given my profession I have learned to skillfully engage (fake it til you make baby!) in networking settings and I genuinely enjoy meeting new people... I just prefer it on smaller scale settings but jump in to the bigger networking events with my “recruiter hat on” and just pretend I’m not terrified. No ones the wiser that they're talking to a shy introvert (thanks to years of practice). 

Profession: Talent Acquisition/ Recruiting + Artist

Passions: People, Storytelling, Painting (all things creative) and connecting those things together! 

Talents: Painting, Coaching, making gluten free food taste well not gluten free, laughing the loudest at parties!

Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art - University of Mary Washington

Master's of HR Management - University of Richmond (Go SPIDERS!)

8 years of experience in corporate talent acquisition and 30 some years of experience at life and being ever curious and always hungry to learn and discover!
